Isuzu rodeo dual exhaust

Video Title : Isuzu rodeo dual exhaust
Description : This is my 98 Isuzu rodeo with dual Magnaflow exhaust. It was a very cold day here in Arizona so that explains all that smoke (vapor). The truck is very loud on start up but as you drive and the engine gets warm the noise comes down but still has that throaty sound. This truck sounds awesome on the highway at higher RPM's . Anyone wanting some duals on their rodeo I recommend Magnaflow. UPDATE: I have received many questions regarding this install so I want to clear up any questions you guys may have. All I did was remove the factory muffler and exchange it for a Magnaflow series muffler with 1 inlet and 2 outlets. I had the muffler shop make a whole new set of pipes from the muffler back to the chrome tips. From the Magnaflow muffler to the catalytic converter its all stock.

Which magnaflow muffler did you use for this? I have a 98 rodeo also and would like a similar sounds. Thanks in advance.
im thinkin that mine bein a 2003, its computer is just way more sensitive. the light goes on and off so i think it may just take time for the computer to learn. your i doubt will have the problem if it hasnt already
Sorry to hear that man but I never had the check engine light come on. You might want to get it checked out by a mechanic. Wish I could be of more help.Keep me updated on what the problem is in case I ever run into it with my truck.
i keep getting p0171/p0174 codes. banks 1 and 2 running lean
ok i recently installed on myself on my 2003. did your ever set off the check engine light? and if so how did you fix it?
Yes I do. Whats your question?
hey man, have a cold air installed? if so i have a question
60 degree V6 doesn't sounds too bad eh :) I have a free flowing exhaust on mine, actually grown to hate the loudness but friends admit that the thing sounds pretty mean considering the small engine size. BTW; these are not soccer mom only trucks. I have an older one sitting on 33" tires and lifted. It's a champ.
hey man ive got a 98 ls 3.2 and man it goes pretty good i was wondering if you could post a vid of you driving it and maybe one showing the cold air set up you have thanks rodasj
sound about the same as the exhaust shop here charges for installing the magnaflow muffler with the stock pipes going to the back. do you now if theres any difference in sound?
About 125. My friend did most of the work.
how much did this install cost you??
read and understood,thanks!
Read the update on the info section. It explains everything.
is it true to the engine,or cutoff an added on from the muffler, jus curious.
ah gotcha well its deff a good car and the exhaust is frekin sweet
Yeah, mines an automatic. I was looking around for a stick shift model but I got a good deal on this automatic.
Thanks man. I get asked a lot from people on the street that cant understand why i would put duals on a rodeo. i tell them why not? besides. I am trying to rid the rodeo of the reputation it has of being a soccer mom truck.
hey man, nice exhaust system. doesn't sound like crap like some people that have them put on. you did a great job
i hate the new rodeos there automatic..i gotta 92 rodeo and its a stick and i love it
Is this the 14" or 18" muffler? Also, which pipes did you use?
considerably faster than the 3.2.. the 3.5 is direct injected and has variable valve timing....right at 3800 the thing opens up and is gone.. beat a celica gts handily the other day...lol
OMG yes Them things fly When there floored i love the sound I havent been in the 04 Yet with the 250hp I Wounder how how much faster it is than the 205 hp rodeo???
yeah, that's so true. People try to cut me off on the highway and they get a nice surprise when i floor it .
mines an 04 with the 250hp direct injection...love it cause people dont expect the acceleration...especially passing power is ruthless
