I always wonder when someone demonstrates how to use a machine. Its a machine. It has fixed parts, fixed range of motion, it only moves ONE WAY, its impossible to get wrong. Someone who's never seen a machine before can look at the moving parts and probably get the form right in just a few minutes. Thats the whole point of machines in the first place.

Feel free to get on this machine, not line up your knees correctly, and try to pull some weight. When your knees get torqued out of place, you'll see why it's important for someone to show you how to use weight machines properly.
