Well, I'm no physicist, but I gather that we put the man on the moon with Newtonian physics. It "works." All "working" science is based upon the belief in fixed, predictable laws (pocket watch). If you think Einstein is great, so be it, but that has nothing to do with Newton's provision of massive leaps to humankind. They're not in competition for anything but praise of biased third parties. NB- It was Galileo who said, The Bible tells us how to go to heaven, not how the heavens go.

do you people know anything about anything? newton did not remove the ghost from the machine, rather he put the ghost INTO the world. he showed that the universe did NOT work like a clock, instead he found that the universe is 'unknowable'. if you knew anything about Newtonian mechanics you would see this.

To refine your characterization about what I must believe regarding the sun, I believe you're no more correct than you would be to suggest that we today can only believe it will rise if our weatherman in the morning news tells us that "sunrise" will occur at 6:33am. almost done. on the subject of Quantum Mechanics i would have to recommend "The Dancing Wu Li Masters" a book by Gary Zukav this is an in depth book for the layman (you don't really have to understand complex math) also, Wu Li is Chinese for physics or Quantum Mechanics. it means: the study of patterns of organic(living) energy.
