I love these ads and this song . . . one day, my first car will be a Jag!!

good luck with that they are pretty expensive
|
The new XF is $49 grand, and a used Jaguar S-type is around 12-14 thousand used. You can also get a very nice V8 XJ from the late 90's for about 7-10grand.
When you say jags are expensive, think again.

i know this but, older the car, more problems will arise even if it doesnt have a ton of miles, time is an unrecreatable result on everything, do have to say though jags hold up 200k miles and only replace the belts, i have owned an xk, s, and an xjr (current)

Thanks for your rather condescending wish of good luck, but I won't need it. Unless Bush manages to bring the economy even further down the drain in the next three months, the entry-level salaries for my chosen field will remain sky-high.

Goodluck, enjoy blowing your years salary on a car. Might want to learn how the car works before you buy it. Reason being, any shop you go in wants 1k upfront before they do anything. Also the market is fine, it's just people are horrible at managing money. From the period of the 777 dow drop to now, certain people including myself have made oodles on ss. The market will do better sooner then later possibly. If the market were to crash certain people will be prepared others will lose it all.

LOL! Don't you have better things to do than try to manage a stranger's finances? Get out of my pocket with your cynical advice and go worry about your own portfolio. Maybe attempting to crush other people's dreams is a pastime of yours, but you've failed here so run along and find something else to do.
