B-25 Mitchell Startup

I flew Mitchell B 25's up in Fort Smith, in northern Alberta, Canada. The three that were based there were converted to bomb forest fires. On my trip to a ball tournament in Palm Springs I happen to stop at the museum and I met a fellow pilot that flew PBY used in water bombing as I also did and he just happened to fly for the same company. Fun Python reference. My fav. of their sketches. B-25 is my favorite plane in the entire world. It's the workhorse and it did the job everyone else didn't want to. Name another plane that was stripped down enough to be able to LAUNCH from a carrier and hit Yokohama/Tokyo? None. I also loooove that Black Widow plane. But that's just because I built it as a model growing up. And truthfully, it's a weirdo-looking plane to begin with. Cool, but weirdo.
