"There are Millions of layers of reefs!" Really millions? C'mon...

At one hill cut or cliff face you can see usualy hundreds or several hundred rock layers .Each band of stratified limestone and shale has sea bed communities .

If you travel to a higher or lower elevation you will see several hundred more layers .The cumulative amount literally exceeds a million in the geologic column as a whole .

The Ordovician alone exceeds 60 million years and thats only a fraction of the Paleozoic .Each layer can be as thin as 1/2 an inch and there are miles of the Earths crust.

If I recall correctly every centimeter represents over 1000 years of accumulated limestone .Hurricanes would be an exception of faster deposition.

BrokenVessel -did you watch the video of the fossil reefs .The number of horizontal reefs layers is in the millions .The number of individual coral / bryozoans per layer is multi trillions.

Most creationists will simply acknowledge that reefs grew here before the flood (in their minds )
