it's incredible to think how such a huge plane can get off the ground.....awesome plane!!!

Now Ukrain could not manufakturing those plains. They have not enouth money. Ukrain goverment by Timoshenko leadship going to seils Antonov manufakture fasility for USA companys. It would be end of AN 124 produktion of Ukrain.

This is due in Dublin airport a few times, can anyone tell me when. Or how I might find out...

and the ukranians of course...a great nation with good and wonderful people...the builders of such a plane...needed to have their place in the free community

Russia/Ukraine to Restart Antonov 124 Production in 2008 and is set to build dozens, they are the second largest plane in the world besides the largest the Antonov An-225. SInce Russia has became a Superpower again in 2006 and they have paid of their deficit, Russia has so much money to built miltary and so much more.

its a great plane....and finally it found its true destiny....civil big transports..so dont mess it up with insane military thoughts..Russia needs to get integrated in the free world..n behalf of the folks which suffered a lot during the last decades

Russia being a Superpower again, they have the money now to big anything. All the post Soviet agencies have all been turned on again, this is great news for Russia. The AN-225 is still a AN-125 just the rear wings are different. Also the Buran shuttle isn't closed, there is still talks on Russia's Mars and Moon mission to use it. Expensive but it still the worlds most powerful rocket.

the An 124 is the biggest Transport plane..the An225 was constructed once...to carry the Buran....these old ......i am better than Yaou...times are over....Reagan did that....but the An 124 stays bigger as the C5 Galaxy

jesus christ...are You thinking just in these " the russians are the rulers" way...man...I hope not...that thinking does not lead to anything...I have lots of friends in the ne East (Ukrania for example) and they dont think to rule the world...they think to get along with the world..and thats true power...to cooperate not to try to rule everything
