Are you adrift in a sea of digital pictures?
--- If so, you need to take a look at the Pharos "Trips and Pics" -- a GPS 'geotagging' system that might be the ultimate in vacation photo collecting.
The Pharos Trips Pics is a self-contained geotagging package complete with GPS receiver, battery and interface software. About the size of two stacked matchboxes, the Trips and Pics is small enough to fit in a shirt pocket and light enough (only .15 lbs) to be hung around your neck.
Pharos is known for high-quality GPS devices and the Trips and Pics is no exception. The GPS receiver has an integrated patch antenna, 20 channel tracking and a 24 hour battery. It also has enough memory to log up to 45 days worth of GPS fixes.
Trips and Pics is compatible with any digital camera and the software will automatically tag each picture, placing them on your map of choice. -- We used it with Google earth and were rewarded with a visual representation not only of our travels, but of the location of each and every single on of our photos.
Since it uses the time stamp of the photos and compares them against the time stamp of the GPS receiver log entries, each picture is placed on the map exactly where it was taken. The end result was that we had a fantastically detailed map of our path around the island, and a neatly organized trip photo album. If we wanted to, we could share this album with the world, or just with our friends --- This changes the paradigm of the family photo album.

Great video. I actually bought this product. pretty cool. It also works with Flickr and Picasa photo-sharing websites. Loaded with features. Thank you for the review.
Wow, I never heard of anything like this before. GPS is really getting Small!
Thanks for your work, I enjoy your show
That is a very interesting way to file your pictures. It also gives you a visual of where you were, which for me is great. I often forget where I took my pictures, but for me at this moment, I'm sticking to my LOLCATS and graphic design pictures. :P I have no good digital camera.
LOL CATS!!!!
Though I found a new one... I think it's called "FAIL DOGS" -- same idea, but with dogs.
another great video. you're doing great work, father.
Yay new video and also a new gadget to add to my colection!
dudekid... that is actually something we're trying to work on. I know that I sometimes get overly-enthusiastic about the tech and that attitude doesn't always make for a good review. --- I promise to keep trying if you promise to keep watching! :)
of course i will keep watching. these reviews are otherwise very thorough and i enjoy them tons. thank you.
