Tavria performs their Transcarpathian dance Dubotanets at the Mosaic Multicultural Festival in June 2006 in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. Tavria headlines the Kyiv Ukrainian Pavilion, hosting up to 15,000 audience members per evening. Artistically directed by Yuri Pats and Nina Pyrogova.

i liked the dance.
especially the intricate footwork combos...
the only thing i didn't care for was at the baginning or somewhere mear there when the guys dance with the girls on far right then on far left... i would have preferred that formation either centered or at least closer to center..
aside from that, very good!

I recently did a dance to this exact music, except ours was all girls, the diffrence was amazing of what you can coregraph with the music.
Yes it's a very common piece of music. Here in our city alone I've heard two or three different groups use it. There are quite a few different ways to approach it, that's for sure.

Had a look at all of your uki videos and your dance group is fab! Really like the guys charavary with a difference in this one and we recently got skirts and red shoes just like those from Ykraina-love em!
