"To announce that there must be no criticism of the president, or that we are to stand by the president right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public."
- Theodore Roosevelt

"Naturally the common people don't want war; neither in Russia, nor in England, nor in America, nor in Germany. That is understood. But after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country."
- Hermann Goering

"In the four years since the inspectors left, intelligence reports show that Saddam Hussein has worked to rebuild his chemical, biological weapons stock, his missile delivery capability, and his nuclear program. He has also given aid, comfort, and sanctuary to terrorists, including al Qaeda. It is clear that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will develop nuclear weapons."
- Sen. Hillary Clinton Oct 10, 2002

do you mean the one that Dan Rather forged?
He's talking about when Dan Rather produced documents regarding Bush's military record. Because Rather couldn't reveal the source, he was ostracised and eventually resigned from ABC. It doesn't mean the documents were fraudulent. Let's talk about the fraudulent letter produced by the administration in Iraq using the name of a former Hussein official, which they paid 5 million dollars in hush money.
There is a big difference between Dan making up a story out of air and being given awards and accolades for it. The Iraq General that was in charge of moving the WMD's confirms the facts of Saddams WMD's./watch?v=Q7LGeYr1hiQ
Saddam had no WMD's! Even the Bush administration admits it now. They always knew it. What does it take to get dumbass americans to face the fact? Is it so hard to admit that you're wrong?
The Dullfer report shows that there were WMD's in Iraq
then if the "Dulfer" report is correct...(and I corrected your spelling), then you would think that the administration would do EVERYTHING IT COULD to make sure that this so called valid information were spread out among the correspondents in the press to make themselved look better. Instead, your dear president admits that there were no WMD's in Iraq.
