B-17 Bomber Flight, Bremerton WA

I was at the Tacoma Narrows airport last year to see the B-17 and B-24 with my mother. Thanks for the great video.My father was a B-17 Pilot in WW2.

I had a couple lucky breaks on the flight. No one knew we were going to fly right down the runway of another airport where an airshow was underway. I just happened to have my turn in the top turret when it happened and got a good video. Dale

A very nice video! I like the mix of vintage footage. The shots of the low clouds during the flight were also impressive. It's good that you included yourself in several shots, something I did not do in my video (other than my legs.) I also missed shooting through the dorsal turret and did not have the opportunity to get any external shots of the 909 taking off or landing. But the important thing is we went up, right?

Thanks, My favorite shot of the whole flight is the engines from the nose, sunlit and purring through the clouds. At first I thought it was going to be dissappointing with all the clouds but flying through them gave one the sense of speed and power, it was amazing. I also have a video here on Youtube of our flight this year in the B-25. That just leaves the B-24 which we hope to do next year (depending on financing) :). I wish the B-29 FiFi was still flying Dale
