Interesting! I wonder if they can devolop something enough to get sounds out of you brain and record them or play them through a loudspeaker. Like if you make up a song in your head but have no way to playing musical instruments for it, just record it off your brain as if a band was playing it. (I wish I could do that) Also I REALLY wish we could record (audio and video) dreams we have in the night. Those would be sooooo exciting to watch! So...Scientistis, GET TO WORK!!! NOW!

imagine people using this, staring at each other for seconds saying nothing

lmaoooooo 12 seconds later. (yea definatly!) ridiculous. i don't think anyone will use that unless they can't actually speak.

Eeexxx, Technology is becoming dangerous...
What I'm thinking is only what I'm thinking...
I don't want anyone else to know what I'm thinking and if I want to find something it is not so hard to ask... Just say hey yo... where is the bus station... Man.... we will be paying for our freedom in the years to come...

Actually, he said "a little bit more than that". I've never seen a thought to speech system, or anything similar, accept when they implanted a chip into a disabled man's brain. But this is not it. What currently works (although almost unusable, as you can see) is catching signals that control our tongue (vocal cords?), which then can be translated to words.
In short, he is saying stuff. Just not out loud. He just wasn't satisfied enough with doing it for the disabled, so he embellished it a bit.
