My dads isuzu is a beast, 170k miles and still tackles some terrain WAY out of its league lol

My parents had a '94 Trooper for 10 years; one of the toughest rigs I've seen yet. the engine was starting to drink a lot of oil when we finally got rid of it, but despite living a hard 170k life, it never had any major failures (except of course when my folks for got to do the timing belt at the scheduled time.. even then nothing was damaged.)

my first truck is an 88 trooper AKA:poopstain. but i have to replace the master cylinder and the slave cylinder. other than that, damn does the 4 wheel drive work like no other!!!! long live the !!TROOPER!!

Yeah, I haven't been able to bring myself to get rid of it. My wife wants me to get rid of it which makes paying for a new clutch pretty difficult but in the end, given the fact that my wife likes to spoil me, I'll get my way. The only question is, when?

hot damn! could a 2000 isuzu trooper 4x4 3.5 V6 do that same thing? that's awesome!
|
mine has +-1280000km and still couting ;)
|
Holy smokes! That's like 800,000 miles. Mine only has 160,000 miles on it.

I got a 2001 trooper limited. love everything about it, except my transmission just ate shit at 96k miles. I found out what the problem is, the motor and everything else is made in japan(of course if its made in japan it will last) the transmission is by GM the biggest piace of american dog shit you can buy!
|
i ate the same shit as you, except at 96k
|
I'll buy me one when I get me a job again.
