That's a pretty big box for a Media Center PC.
I like the MSI Media Live, which looks like a real Media PC, is compatible with Linux as well as Windows (and therefore can be used with the superior LinuxMCE).
This box is a regular PC with some Windows installed. There are lots of those.

At least you had a long time on top. I bought mine (same specs) literally days before the Core 2 Quad was reduced in price exponentially.
