Ah, the good old days. I miss OLD KMSP. UPN and Fox ruined this and other 'Metromedia' stations. And yes Chabba, you're right. KSTC-45 is not the same.

That was a blast from the past. I actually did my brothers paper route for him while he went to camp so I could by a water bed from the Water bedroom. I haven't thought about that commerical in years!!

Who was it who did the promo voiceovers? Hearing that voice really brings back memories.

I remember coming home from school and watching that line-up. That was fun. Remember when we were all 612?

Oh man, I remember the classic KMSP. At least as far back as the early 90s.

It is on Tbs

Only the Atlanta version of TBS

I too miss the old KMSP in its glory days. It lost all its charm when it became a UPN, then Fox affiliate. Sure, we've had a new independent, KSTC-45 for 7 years, but unfortunately it's not the same as the independents of the 80s. This is sadly the age of the infomercial. Instead of classic horror movies all night, we now get Ron Popeil pushing Veg-O-Matics, and spray paint for bald spots. What a shame.

Hear hear! I remember watching Diffrent Strokes in syndication religiously on 9. I also remember taping "The Terminator" in 1991. Then: Diff strokes in syndication. More recent then: Friends in syndication. Just isn't the same with the UPN switchover.

God, I loved KMSP.
I've found that TV 18 in Milwaukee bought the same graphics package as 9 used - I'll upload some examples of that soon... It's a real trip to see an 18 where a 9 should be...
