old school shotokan fucking kicks ass no points iken hisatsu (1 strike ko blow)
punching on bull was so terrible. Isn't Karate cruel?
no ....karate isn't, but punching a bull is cruel.
It's great, all of their faces were wide open though just inviting strikes. Maybe it's what they wanted but the atacker was faster than their reflex lol who knows, how confusing weeeeeeeeee!
I'm sorry. This may be what your Martial Art means to you, but it is not what I have read spoken of by Sensei Gichin Funakoshi, Sensei Tadashi Nakamura, Sensei Nishiyama, Sensei Masutatsu Oyama, Sensei Anko Itotsu, or any other of the Masters who founded the art. Their words do have the idea of "one strike, one kill", but they do not focus on it. What I have read is that Karate is not about fighting others, but about avoiding fighting others.
They write "Karate is not sport" then they show a bunch of tournaments and movies of people fighting with RULES. Sorry, that is not Karate.
They can lower their guards like that because as you can see with both opponent's distance that they're in a certain range where the punches cannot reach them yet, and if you look closely, as one of them or both comes in, they both put their hands up. Swaying and parrying those strikes.
