Dana is beautiful with the voi, but I have also seen dancers doing very similar in the early 1990's. Some things are an inevitable "invention" and are often done by many people around the world. In other words: it was also invented by others about 15 years ago, but they didn't market it. I'm sure Dana didn't know this, though. There are other voi instructors and performers out there and I often see nasty comments on their vids saying "oh yeah, well, she didn't invent it!"

Did this video ever end up coming out? I have found one, but I believe it is with a different instructor.

As far as I know im the only one who has put out a DVD on it because im the one who created it. Its avalible on ebay, amazon, and my personnal myspace page.

....are you saying you "created" voi?!? Because that's completely untrue and totally unfair to the DOZENS of people who helped develop it! I watched girls voi dancing (no, I don't mean flag poi) with beautiful handmade voi almost ten years ago...Did you think you were the first bellydancing fire dancer? How can you say that?! Did you coin the term? 'Cause you sure as heck didn't invent the art.
