Tony Jay had such a unique voice, and it worked perfectly for the omniscient entity in Soul Reaver. I remember that he was also the voice of the Beholder in Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance for PS2.

I look up Tony Jay on IMDb, he died in 2006.
