My heart ached and tears flowed when I watched your video.I am sorry you lost a dear friend.Unfortunately you are right there are many people who do not see the connection of earth, people, and animals.I feel sad when I see nesting grounds being destroyed for construction. We are destroying all that is good about us...mother earth and our friends in the animal kingdom.Hopefully more people will awaken and stop the insanity!Thank you for your video it was nice to get to know A-63.

Sad news. Do you know what happened?
|
I guess it was a case of a speeding vehicle because that road appeared straight enough with a clear view ahead. The man and his young daughter who found A-63/Limuw had a difficult time locating anybody for assistance. They made phone calls and eventually reached the IWS--who was grateful for the information. The person who found Limuw is a wonderful man. It is sad that so many are run down by speeding drivers. All that work and such a brief shining life.

I know what it is like. I feed, rescue and treat sick and/or injured mourning doves. Thus
far I have lost none that were in my care, but
whenever one stops coming around for longer than a couple of weeks I know something has happened to it and feel a sense of loss. It is
almost the same as losing a human friend.

Four drips of tears and no more.
|
My heart goes out to you guys.May you find peace and
continue your efforts to preserve these amazing birds.
God Bless
|
Thank you, Jim. We're trying to mend broken hearts and find that place of peace. Limuw is there.

I was saddened to learn of this fine eagle's untimely death. Thank you for posting this loving tribute.
