I had no idea Oprah has been doing this for so long already! I was born on September 25th 1986, so she practically has been doing this my entire life! :P A funny thought! Despite what some people might say about her, I think she does a great job in talking about all kinds of issues/probles/taboos (sp?). Her interviews are very good and the message always makes you think... :) Great choice of subject for the show!

She is known as being the most powerful and influential celebrities of our time. Also known for her yo-yo dieting problems. Overall Oprah rocks as a media leader and professional career woman. Oh really? That's interesting. Is it on TV in English? Or dubbed/subtitles? I haven't found anyone in Japan who has heard of Oprah - but then, almost all of the TV here is local.

Yeah it's still in English and only subbed. We never dub the shows, and I believe most people know English anyways. There has been a lot of shows here from USA since early 90's I think!
