Cool! I was there when General William Wallace and Petraeus gave a speech after the invasion. Petraeus and the 101st had a division run before deployment began in 2003. We, the 101st, invaded with Petraeus in command. Make sure to check the book out! "In the Company of Soldiers: A Chronicle of Combat" by Rick Atkinson. At the center of Atkinson's drama stands the compelling figure of Major General David H. Petraeus, described by one comrade as "the most competitive man on the planet."

It must have been a great honor having served with such a leader and such an unit! Screaming Eagles go!
