I remember this commercial... I thought it was pretty cool. I can't believe I found it on youtube. What year was this from?

No. The EB112 was a Convertible. Mazda said the RX-8 was the first 4-door coupe, but it was to where the doors could only be open if the driver or passenger door was opened first. (The door was small and handle could only be accessed once front doors were opened)

stunning looking car... in australia... mercedes-benz used to go under Daimler Chrysler... but now it is known as Mercedes-Maybach Pacific (sumtin like that)

They didn't show the 126 coupe!! they skipped it!

That's my favorite also - but the W140 coupe isn't bad looking and it got passed up as well - maybe using the e-class coupe from the 90s instead helps make the new cls look even better (and helps us forget the "over-engineered" greatness of the 80s and 90s) Cheers

I had the option of buying the W140-320CE (highest version in AU) but choose not to. I don't regret it but I would like my next car in say 10-15 years time to be the CLS. I don't mind not having a manual, I always prefer a special gearbox, and one with 7 gears would suit me fine :D

M-B OWNS, as in OWNS Chrysler, which it will soon DUMP off the side of a cliff...osmosis from the K-cars nearly killed MBZ quality, but I ALWAYS feel better a few minutes after I throw up.
