all of the new gen phones are BB5 the all mostly unlock same way, cable+box. if you want to unlock a phone once off take it to a smart corner phone shop, there are no free souloutions so dont fall for bullcrap. AND FLASHING DOSNT UNLOCK THE PHONE (people usually try and kill there phones or kill them selves with suspense ;)

Hi I read your post. It seems you guys know a lot about nokia phone unocking. I have a date cable and Nokia PC suite. I used up my 3 tries with the stupid code generators. How do I do a direct unlock to remove CINGULAR restriction?

Well, first of all, these boxes unlock via cable. basically, you have 3 trys to enter via keypad, and 10 times to enter it via cable. it is hard to reset these tries, how ever i believe JAF and Nemises (off the top of my head) generate rpl's (this allows you to reset both numbers to 0) nemises is cheaper and once off. as for the lock sorry mate, only soloutions now are for pay, if its a once of phone take it to a phone repair shop (NOT NOKIA) and get it unlocked. only a box can unlock. hey cruiserman! you talk bull here. go to the master forums and you'll be laughed at. :) for unlocking bb5's you need testpoint for most of them. no change of factory/production or other codes will help you. once unlocked with the right equipment and testpoint you'll have a permanently unlocked handset.
