Triumph = Rush - but without the crushing burden of actual talent.

I've always thought Triumph had a lot more heart than Rush--possibly due to the likelihood that Rik Emmett was the heart of the band. Triumph was a shining beam of hope vs. Rush who spouted out very right-wing ideals.
Triumph must have had a falling out over their belief systems after Never Surrender? I don't know because I haven't followed them after that. All I can say is that I absolutely loved them in their heyday and I still love them.

rush 'spouted' right wing ideals?...RIGHT WING?..lmao..ROFLMAO..err, umm, as a fan of BOTH of these badns for 30 years now ,(rush is my FAV band ) , and one who knows quite a bit about each band , and followed rush ( as do most of their diehard fans ) VERY CLOSELY, i must say that statement is ABSURD..right wing?...lmao...puh-leeeez

Re: Rush
If you consider ideas like independence, integrity and personal responsibility "right wing" then you are correct.
