Be brave Bernie. Just remember that all of your problems can be stored and used when creating a character who has dealt with adversity. One of my last students. I will not mention his name, but he is the lead in The Harry Potter movies used to work part time in a magic store. He hated it and found retail very mundane. But little did he know that it would give him the foundation to create the lead character in a very successful franchise. He had never even read the book. Live your dreams Bernie

I sold my house and I moved into a small studio apartment in LA to begin my acting career. Or if you want to sound like James Mason you just say..."a thisand pindes?" Or, say if you want to sound like a cockerney from a 50's film you could say: "lawks guv, is thet roight?" keep practising. Solitaire, you are so funny. However, you have never taught at RADA but you have been on the comedy circuit. What a hoot!

Hello and cheers to all that have commented. I can assure you that these are tried and tested classic acting techniques. If at first you cannot get it then keep replaying the clips, it will come to you and enlighten you before you know it.
