The Whisperer in Darkness

It seems like the HPLHS finally has figured out how to do these Lovecraft-stories. Present them like they were produced for the screen in the 1920s and 30s, brilliant!

I've been teling my little sister about Lovecraft for years, but she only agreed to read the stories after I showed her this trailer. Keep up the good work. Who knows, if you keep bringing out this stuff some film guys might seek your advice and actually make a GOOD Lovecraft movie.

I would say that this seems to do justice to the actual story, quite well in my opinion. The Call of Cthulhu was an excellent film so I'm expecting this shall be as well. HPLHS seems to know what they're doing...

When is the release date?

This is unbelievably good. Excellent quality, in the lighting and the camerawork. Can't wait to see the whole thing!

Looks fantastic! Beautifully shot. My one quibble (and this is natural when it comes to how people "imagine" their favorite stories should be when they are adapted so bear with me) is that the "buzzing voice" should be less recognizably human, it sounds a bit too clearly like the voice of an older woman and not the "imitation" of speech described in the book. It should be intelligible, obviously, but I'd love to hear it with more "buzz," more bizarre.
