can u post a vid on kings gambit dec? by the way ur vid was great

Thanks imsoworried - it's on my list of vids to make for sure.

I'm a beginner and I apologize if these are beginner questions that are obvious to everyone else: but around 3:30 you say that the black knight can access e5 (with the protection of a pawn) and that both knights can take the pawns at c4 and d4 but any of those would be foolish moves in the short term, wouldn't they? If I were white and you moved knight to e5 I would just sacrifice a pawn and gain a knight. Also, at 5:35 wouldn't it be smarter to move knight to b4 BEFORE attacking the d3 bishop?

At 3:30 of the video I am talking about future potential of the pieces over the long term, not immediate moves to be played right away in the position. At 5:35 if black plays knight to B4 before exhanging bishops white can capture the bishop and double up the pawns. Thanks for checking out the vid and posting your ideas/questions!

Ahh... I see. I've read up more on opening theory since I posted my question and it makes sense to me now. Thanks for replying :)

well white's pawn chain can also come under attack later on i would imagine

after the move Bh5-g6 why would white not exchange bishops right then? (Bd3xg6) Would this just not ruin it for black's position? When i have an opportunity to ruin my opponents castle position for no more than an even exchange i take it. i am just learning but i just don't buy white's response with b3. Where am i wrong??

Maybe because if you eat it with pawn f7 you make a better position for your rooks despite the fact you get doubled pawns. The white's knights can not attack the black king's side due to those pawns. After the exchange later on in the game if black chooses to remain with just rooks he may have a better position or so it seems to me.

What game is this ?
