personaly i was sad that there weren't any hindu or native american gods. it also sucked that there was such a small number of japanese and voodoo gods. all the same this game kiks ass and i guess they can fix all that stuff with exspantions. besides i cant wait to give my game master even more grey hair as the basterd son of loky. mwuhahaha

I think they did that because people who still worship those gods.

Best game I ever played seriously. They simplified the sistem so that it was easy to do any epic battles and epic stunts without rolling the dice 300 times over and over again. Also it's fun to be the storyteller and narrating the absurdly powerfull effects of the epic attributes.

the developers of Scion stated that this was deliberate. You are playing the children of gods and legendary heroes. As long as your concept is appropriate you can have any background you want. The focus is on action and epic role playing, not balance or keeping characters weak.

I've been following this game since its publication a year ago. I finally bought all 3 books and after I get familiar enough with it I plan on running my players through it. The concept looks great and very original. You play the children of gods of legend and eventually your character can become godlike in power. Great review.

No Babylonian Gods? No Celtic Gods? No Chinese Gods? Etc. etc. no thanks

They speculate that the Summerian/Babylonian pantheon will be released later this year in the Scion Companion. White Wolf has already stated that the chinese pantheon is one of the final 3 to be published.

I think they already released a supplement covering Celtic Gods.

Right man get out of your Archelogical ass and look at the GAME...if you want those god put them in. also if you look at the game there are suggestions that the Pantheons serve different people, so the Norse Gods could also be the Celtic gods, and the Babylonian Gods could be moonlighting as the Egyptian Gods. Truth be told man im doing a game where all the Player characters are decended from Gods who acended in the last 20 years.
