@justforever96 i would say the hissing is from the turbo (prob bleed/dump valve) and the whining is from the supercharger
Cool! I was right then! I figured the helical gears would put to much force sideways onto the bearings. apparently I was right! I love how I can do that. None of my friends ever seems to have a clue what I'm talking about, and they don't really care to either. Thanks, man.

they were supecharged and turbo for a reason, it eliminated all turbo lag, the powerband began very early. not odd, proper. he could have shaved two and a half seconds off that run, he took some weird ass lines, watch it again. nice video.

Brother had a y10 turbo and that was a bonkers little car seeing it was so tiny, put many big cars to shame lol.

The noise is not the straight cut box - it's the supercharger. These bad boys were both turbo and supercharged. Odd, but that's what they were!
