Conspiracy Kenneth Branagh

Nice pseudo-science fiction movie nonetheless.

This movie was the first thing that popped into my mind when I heard that Branagh was going to play Henning von Tresckow (head of the German Military Resistance) in Valkyrie. I found that somewhat ironic, although I couldn't think of a better man for either role (apart from the fact that his physical resemblance of Heidrich wasn't that great) - What a magnificent actor!

When you first see that this film is just a bunch of guys sitting around talking, you can't fathom how it manages to absolutely freeze you to the marrow. But it does. It's brilliant. Branagh is horrifying here, a complete monster.

branagh as heydrich? i laughed when i first saw him in this movie, but he's an awesome actor. i'm impressed.

I agree. He is fantastic, but this role is a joke for him. He is too much english kinda.

This movie is one of few stealing my heart fully, I think it mostly couse of Kenneth. He dress good as Heydrich, the same with Stanley as Eichmann. Some might scream no now but here is the thing, you can't get the same back again. Thanks for that.
