dark side of horse racing

It is more dangerous when a horse falls because as you see in the video many land and snap their necks which kills them especially at the speed they are going. Racing itself isn't bad unless the horses are treated badly by their owners but that isn't racing. Racing without jumps is a lot better.

Sports are dangerous, and acidents happen in almost all sports (equine and human). There are some horses that die and are terribly injured, but I don't think this is cause to ban racing altogether. Keep in mind that the number of horses that die in racing is small when compared to the number of horses alive in racing.

1.)This is Steeple Chasing. It's a lot more dangerous then flat racing.2.)Anything can happen when riding a horse ANYWARE.3.)If you go to farms these horses are usually treated better then most people. Its not abuse. I agree its sad,but these horses are incredibly athletic. Trainers wouldn't enter them in a race if they thought their horse couldn't do it.Any horse could fall..whether its footing or they aren't having a good day. This is the racing world. Accidents are going to happen.

THAT IS SOO CRUEL!!!! IF these RETARDS wanna keep racing these poor horses, maybe they shud make the distances shorter and the jumps SMALLER!! sum of those jumps r 4-5 feet high!! they shudn't be any more than 3 feet!!! and 4250 meters is 2 long 4 ANY horse 2 run!! it shud be the OWNERS who shud b shot!!
