Except the new Civics (08~09 ones) are just about one of the ugliest cars on the road. I don't know what the designers at Honda were smoking, but it must have been some funky shit.

I agree the Lancer does look better. Honda focused on making the new Civic more aerodynamic. It's because of this that the new Civic can be bigger, heavier, and more powerful than the old Civic but still get better gas mileage. Like most new cars, the new Lancer is overweight(2922lbs) and only slightly more aerodynamic than a brick. It's a shame too because if Mitsubishi had just got rid of 150lbs and lowered the drag coefficient just a little, they would have had a great car.
