Some advice for me plleasee!!!: Well I really want a ferret but I don't know much about them. I have 2 rabbits that live outside. I know a natural thing for a ferret would be to eat rabbits etc etc or whatever but maybe if I got the ferret from a young age, maybe it wouldnt want to eat my rabbits? My animals mean the world to me. I keep hearing that peoplea re feeding their ferrets on day old chicks, rabbit, etc etc but do they HAVE to eat that or can they just eat dry food? HELP!

i dont advise letting a ferret of any age near your rabbit as its instinct is to kill the rabbit for food...... errrrrm and the thing about food you can feed them dog food ....or there is a food u can buy from pet shops but it is expensive i used to feed mine on dog food . ferrets are carnivores so eat meat ... hope this helps

If you are in the US buying or adopting a ferret costs $100-300, a cage is at least $100, food is $20-40/month, they need annual vet visits and vaccinations, and you should have AT LEAST $500 per ferret saved in case of emergency vet care. They are prone to a lot of illnesses as they age.
