What's the song playing over the end credits?

"Prelude 12/21" by AFI.

Highlander has many inconsistencies. For instance, cuts and puncture wounds heal quickly, but the loss of an eye does not? Or even the loss of a limb....as Duncan cut off the arm of one St..in the Highlander series. Or Duncan cutting the throat of an opera singer, or Connor cutting the Kurgan's throat.

Yeah, when I made this video I though about these things a bit... The basic conclusion I came to is that an immortal's flesh will always heal, but severed limbs and stuff that could never grow back on a normal human stay gone. As for the throat scars that have appeared in the series, I guess the neck area is just every immortal's vulnerability.

I agree. I've always theorized that the neck/throat is a weak point for any immortal and that deep wounds to that area will not heal properly. In fact... if you read the novelization of the first movie, it says that immortals do scar like normal humans and Connor's body is COVERED with scars. So it seems to me that perfect regeneration of wounds was never in the original plan.

That's interesting. Just more evidence of the total lack of consistency that plagues the Highlander "canon." (in quotes because it hardly deserves the term.) It's a shame they can't get it together into one mythology that everyone can agree on. If I had to chose one, I'd go with the series, just because it contains the most material.

DaeEdorian is right.. I agree with you that Highlander has many inconsistencies, but those arent them, those are easily explainable. Those are complex organs, and they dont grow organs, they heal just like humans, only much much faster.. and only really small damage are instantaneus by the way.

niiiice man.

thats a prity groovy video :)

Hey that was very good. Are you going to make any more short video novels? Are you looking for script ideas? Thanks, I enjoyed it.
