Those American tanks with their smooth bore tank guns are just as accurate based on highly advanced computers. And the primary round the sabo round doesn't spin it has fins to stabalize it so for that round rifling is irrelivant. And the reason for the smooth bore is for a perfect seal around the round giving it longer range and more kinetic force upon impact.
