Per Wikipedia, he was 42 years old.

I thought Theodore was 40 when he became president.

PhatalOne: Be assured, no such trinkets of political blasphemy shall be attached to any garments upon my person.

PropBust... I grew up too poor to vote Republican. I hope for you sake you didnt. You are funny! I cant take that from you! would love to chat politics - I am more middle than left. But I have 2 bros. in the service. One has already been in Iraq for 2 tours. I can't handle anymore, they can't either.
PhatalOne, you gotta deal! We have great candidates. I'd like to see them suck it up and get on the same ticket. We;d get the best of likability (sp?) and policy smarts. We'll see...

soniadug: Thank you to your family for the service of your two brothers. I grew up poor in Brooklyn. But I did not let that influence my belief in capitalism and personal responsibility. All of which the current day Democratic leadership want no part of. I use to be a JFK, Hubert Humphrey Democrat, just like Reagan. Than the Democratic Party of Ted Kennedy left me.
|
No, totally understand...and I believe (RESPONSIBLE) capitalism is the way to go which means not bailing out mortgage co's and ignoring people who were prey. Sometimes you have to give people a little help - hell even my gi bro got SOME help for college. I myself am far more (poor Baltimore) middle-of-the-road than current Democrats... honestly, Hillary is a pragmatic used-to-be-Republican with policy know-how that is NOT far left. I like McCain, but whats your take.. curious????
|
What policy know how does Hillary have? As for McCain he has my support because I trust him, but I feel he is a bit to the left than I would like him to be. But I just could never vote for Obama or Hillary, so McCain has my vote.
|
you are right. we do have some great candidates. I would love to see both on the same ticket either way.
|
far better than our current president too.
