Just like samsung is now better than sony, hyundai will be no 1. Hyundai was ranked 11th in 1999 but is now 5th largest car manufacturer in the world beating out honda and nissan.

And they are only growing stronger. To dismiss Hyundai is to make the mistake the big 3 did in the 80's and dismiss Toyota and Honda.

i think i have been paying good %30 japanese premium every time i was buying their cars but i don't think it was worth it. japanese cars lacks power and their mileage rating is not all that ooh's and ahh's. my next car is going to be hyundai tiburan or whatever it's call it. my friend drove it over 4 years without a single problem. I test drove it and ooh's and ahh's.

japanese cars are overrated. I've only had one american built car which was Ford hatchback which was a piece of junk due to it's age(somehow i'd like to believe it that way). ever since, i drow nothing but japanese. I had honda civic ex 95. which started leaking oil at 3k mile. 00 nissan altima which had battery blown making huge dent on my front hood. 04 toyota tacoma which has transmission overheating problems. i had many many more but just can't fit them all in one post.

I can say Japanese cars are best. I have had American cars before and they have all kinds of mechanical problems. I got fed up and in 2004 purchased an Infiniti Q45..haven't had any problems, only regular maintenance and it has been driven in snow(ice), gravel, dirt. I drove 70 miles with cruise control on 90MPH...smooth as silk. Hyundai imitates cars too mucha nd their quality is poor. I can picture idiots buying this and putting a 2005 S-class grill on it and 22" rims to imitate rapper fags.

Have you ever actually been in a new hyundai? check out consumer reports... the cars are continuously in the top 10... and the Genesis? Consumer Reports compares it to the S-class... and guess what! It only costs about as much as the C230... not to mention a 290 HP V6/ 375 HP V8... By the way, Hyundai out sells honda, toyota, and nissan world wide...
