Well maybe you ought to opt for an S60 Volvo or new C-class Benz; both elegant, understated, safe and reliable. The X-Type is after all a previous generation Ford Mondeo, which should not mar the design and performance ratings of the XK, XJ and brand new XF Jaguars which are reputedly much better.

And being a previous generation Ford Mondeo makes it 'bad' in what respect? Cause Ford never sold any of them did they.
