Description :	This commercial first aired in 1985, but recently, a marketing genius in the Minneapolis area decided to resurrect this nearly 20-plus year old commercial, big hair, whore makeup and all. Avid fans of this commercial tell me that a short line of the song missing. I suspect this is so the local franchise could tack on their blurb touting the footlong special at the end. And no, that is not Parker Posey next to the conveyer belt--that is the word from her manager, according to a recent article in the St Paul Pioneer Press (see comments below).

"Whore make-up"?? I thought that singer was so classy! I love the way she boots the chicken bucket off the stage and the pieces go flying. I love Subway and I always liked that commercial because of the song and the two cute girls next to the conveyor belt. Other than that, I detest commercials in general.

This is brilliant! I remember this commercial from when I was young! I ask alot of people about it and no one seems to remember it! Anyways good commercial, it's stuck with me all these years! Thanks for posting it!!!!!! And it's making me crave Subway right now! ;)

The mime wave! Holy crap! BTW I grew up in the Mpls area and can confirm both the original broadcast "era" and seeing it again - like a movie monster that won't stay thankfully dead...

And I thought this was a clever throwback to the 80s...I didn't think it was an actual commercial from 1985 resurrected with new copyrights and whatnot.
