Yeah, I'd agree that you're backwards on that... Madden had the better graphics, but 2K has the better gameplay. 2K looked nice when you zoomed in close on something like the uniforms, but overall it wasn't a looker - especially the character models/faces and the playing field (grass).

what difficulty is this on? I almost never catch tipped passes even by switching players and hitting Y

I honestly don't remember from clip to clip which difficulty it was on, but my guess would be the default setting. I never play anything easier, and I never mess with gamesliders/rules and that type of thing.
