umm. . hard to explain in 500 characters. Before WoW (World of Warcraft) came out, the Warcraft series came out. It started with the battle between the humans and the orcs and slowly each side began to recruit more allies and they became the Alliance and the Horde. Then the burning legion came about and both sides had to put aside their differenes to battle the undead Scourge that was the burning Legion. there are character plots that I'm not going to get into right now.
