my high school just did a production of this! Only the second HS in the nation to perform this. Such an amazing play.

Astonishing play...

I played Michal in Reno at Bruka Theare and was the most amazing acting experience in my life. Thanks Brian Barney.

I saw it on Broadway like 3 times...AMAZING cast!!!

This play is incredible. McDonaugh does a great job at really presenting these characters. We are currently doing a production of it and it's a very interesting show. The comedy in it, if played right, is absolutely hysterical. From Tupolksi's odd tactics, Katurian's snide remarks, Michal's itchy ass and Ariel's lack of patience, it's one of those shows you never know when to laugh outloud.

It's called a "black" or "dark" comedy. If played right, Katurian is absolutely hilarious. It's a beautiful type of comedy because it's uncomfortable. You want to laugh at things, but when you do, you look around and notice that everyone's doing the same thing: wondering if it's OK to laugh. That's the beauty of it. The more uncomfortable the show is, the funnier it becomes. I'm writing my University exit critique on this play. It's brilliant.

who said this play was a comedy?

I finally read this play, since I've wanted to see it for years and haven't been able to. I want to see it now more than ever. Holy cow, what a script!

I am so pissed off that I missed this production. I saw this performed at my college last weekend and it blew me away. Possibly the best play I've ever seen.

I was lucky enough to see this show on Broadway- wow. Steppenwolf in Chicago did a version of it too recently, but their Ariel wasn't anywhere near as good as Ivanek. Still, you can't go wrong with this play. Pure genius.
