scmm42.. great vid... chuckling at userUK saying it's horrible.. i've seen both lindley and warren zevon sing it live.. they were friends and warren loves lindley's version of his song.. hmmm, should lindley apologize it's not exactly like zevon's? both have/had a great time with song.. so, methinks not... "very very greasy" good post!

Let's see-- Lindley, the ubiquitous Sandborn on sax, Hiram Bullock (now deceased) on lead guitar, looks like Omar Hakim on drums... Who am I missing? I don't recognize the keyboard players or bassist... I think this is an interesting take on the tune (ska version), but I'm of course a fan of Z's original.

Anyone else kind of feel this is Talking-Heads-a-la-Stop-Making-Sense-esque? Without the pretension, that is.
