Tony's strategic seat to face the door for an unobstructed view of the restaurant (with old man, cub scouts and young couple behind him.) Clear view of the bathroom. (Think Godfather!!). Classic Gangster Ending!! The clues are endless. MOG in background when Tony Looks at AJ. The Silence after the shot is the nothing Tony hears from being dead. (Camera was shooting from Tony's POV.) Point of View. |

| I just always saw the ending as either way you looked at it Tony was fucked. Either he gets whacked or he end up in prison for a very long time. This was the end of Tony Soprano's story. A perfect ending in my book. |

| Member's Only Jacket Guy Whacks Tony while he is distracted by looking for Meadow to enter the restaurant. (He probably followed AJ since they walk in together) Absolutely poetic. David Chase set up the ending and did everything to let you know what was going to happen. Tony S. comes full circle. I didn't really get it until the third time through the whole series. All the clues are there. |
