Sid was doing harddrugs with his own mother when he was 13, drugs like speed, so Nancy didn't introduce him to speed. He started doing heroin after he met Nancy, but that was his own choice, it's not like she put a gun to his head. And since he was doing harddrugs since he was 13, he eventually would have turned to heroin even if he never had met Nancy.
