Tour the 5th century citadel, the Gjergj Kastrioti Museum which was built to honour Albania's national hero Skanderbeg who fought the Ottomans from this mountain fortress. Just outside the citadel is the old bazaar selling lots of Albanian souvenirs such as flags, T-shirts, folk costumes and the traditional felt hats. GJergj Kastrioti was his name turkey try to change his name his identity but they couldn't change his blood he fought for his country until the day he died proud of being Albanian,as we all are proud of him and proud being Albanian!

I miss Kruja, My grand Father was born in Kruja, Also my Father was born there, he was 4 years old, when his father die, then his mother Moved in Shkoder, because she was from shkodra, so I was born there. But I been in Kruja, I was 16 years old, I lived in USA for over 18 years, I missed Albania, and Kruja. I am proud to say I am Albanian, we have rich history. every educated person who know Albanian history know that Gjerg Kastrioti was and still Albanian.
