River City Ransom Powered-Up Runthrough with Commentary

Video Title : River City Ransom Powered-Up Runthrough with Commentary
Description : River City Ransom powered-up melee runthrough with commentary by player Peter Yang. This is a runthrough of the game on the advanced difficulty setting with a powered up character. It would be best to view this after the other video walkthrough since the commentary here focuses on the smaller details of the game. The other video shows me beating the game with the starter character. The password generator that I mention is located at: http://ensomnya.net/projects/rcr_password/index.html

i had no idea what a frat or a jock or a turf was when i played this game. and i was 12 years old! all i know is that i beat it and i liked the music when you fight the last boss.

Here's a trick that I know: If you grab a weapon and dash attack then attack again, you'll perform a two-hit combo that knocks the enemy down unless he guards. Run + Bash + Bash.

Sorry for the late reply, but lead pipes are actually as fast as sticks. The lead pipes are a good weapon to those who intend to beat the game without using Grand Slam.

you are a Rivercity god my friend

Man, I maxed out most of my stats BEFORE I fought Moose! It took a god aweful long time to do it, too. I didn't max them all out because the first mall didn't have all the stuff needed to max everything out.

Your pretty handy with those Acro Circus jumps. Nice job, your original walkthrough got me through the game.

how do you jump

A+B.

With Dragon feet and Acro Circus you can not do the running kick hop that ALL enemies do not recognize and/or dodge... it destroys enemies... run - jump - when about to land kick and bounce and kick in a rhythm that allows you to hop... or Dance in a straight line (since it looks like the Russian dance) My older brother taught me this technique, as well as the Sherman Park blue thing deflects thrown rocks/knuckles and sends them in \ direction, which is random. Well, thank you for teaching!
