If I can revamp an old farmhouse, and reduce the energy consumption in that house by a factor of 5, while bringing in fresh air and everything is more comfortable in winter - it's a win-win-win! There is no shortage of research that implicates anthropogenic forcing in the accelration of Arctic and Antarctic climate change. On the other hand, we don't know the extent of the role that we have played in these changes. What most environmentalists are trying to do nowadays is minimize the effects we have on the climate.

I also live in Australia where skin cancer levels have greatly risen with a greater depletion in the ozone layer.
