Greco Roman Wrestling

Greco-Roman is in some ways similar to judo. Jujitsu is USELESS against two attackers, and on the street you are not going to get a fair fight. On the street, I think a boxer/judoka would do best. Jujitsu is a great style, but it isn't any better or worse than any other art. I wish I were good at Greco.

That depends which kind of JJ you do. Greco has no leg holds, which would seriously limit you (Judo/JJ does have leg holds).

Can someone tell me what folkstyle, greco-roman, and freestyle have in common and what makes each different. Details. :P

Folkstyle wrestling is used in colleges in high schools. The main objectives are pinning and racking up as many points as possible through takedowns, escapes, and reversals. It uses both the arms and legs for throws and holds. Freestyle wrestling is like folkstyle wrestling its catch as catch can basically anll body parts are fair game. Its an olympic sport as well. Greco roman wrestling uses only the arms and body for throws no locks are allowed with the legs.
