Eireboy922, I think The Jimmy Corkhill character was brill in the 80's and 90's when was he was an abusive smackhead on the rob.. he had a lot of comical scenes too which used to crack me up..but since the early 2000's when he turned into a psychotic lunatic with chronic depression ranting on about boring political type issues, i got very bored.. I think brookside went a bit over board with him...as they did with most things nearing the end of the program.

I use to watch this years ago and I thought it was good - when i look at it now, it's kinda crap, d acting is very poor. - I also think the Jimmy Corkhill charactor was the ruination of Brookside, they should of axed him years before it ended. The Jorcache "Body under the patio" was the best soap opera storyline ever - Fair play to Brookside there.

Brookie,the best soap ever by a country mile as the characters were so memorable unlike those of today.
